Terms & Conditions of Hire

There is a minimum hire fee of £75

  • Hire duration 
Hire is 5 days per booking, with a maximum of 3 consecutive periods or 15 days per booking.
  • Collection only we do not offer postage or shipping 
Items can be collected in person or you can arrange your own courier. The items will be available to collect from the date requested in the calendar when booking from either The Styling Bank, Studio 18 E, Crawley Road Studios, 38 Crawley Road, London N22 6AG or for evening collection upon request
  • Extending hire or making changes to the booking once placed

Please contact us to check if an item will be available for additional weeks beyond the 15 day maximum hire period. Where an item has already been booked then we will need it to be returned for cleaning before its next booked rental hire period. Once a sale has been processed it may not be possible to amend your order, please contact us to check if an item can be swapped for another item.

  • Cancellation
Yes, you can cancel an order right up until the point of dispatch, However, there will be a re-stocking fee of £30 for orders that have already been prepared. 
  • Packaging
I will avoid single-use plastic wherever possible, using reusable bags and materials instead, so please return the items in the hire bags provided.

All items are available to view online to book out and use for mood boards. They have all been shot under studio flash to show how the colour will appear under lighting, but there are variances in colour to the naked eye and screen saturation. 

  • Availability

Each item is available to rent on a 5-day basis for a maximum of 15 days. Check the calendar on each piece to see if an item is currently available for the dates required. Please contact us immediately if pieces are needed urgently so that we can work around your needs.

  • Insurance

Please ensure that you have your own insurance to cover the loss or damage of the items. Each item has a full-price risk value which is the replacement cost charge for any lost or damaged items. Please inspect the condition of the products on receipt and if there is any alteration to the condition as seen online then please tell us immediately. We ask for card details to be provided upon hire in case of any loss or damage, but your card will not be charged without notifying you first.

  • Dirtying Down

Please return items in the condition that they were hired to you in. Do not put any dirtying down sprays or paints or substances that may cause staining onto the hire items - they do not wash off. If you wish to purchase the item at its full price replacement value then please contact us to check if that is possible BEFORE damaging or altering the appearance of the item. Some items are not easily replaceable as the collection has been built up over many years. 

  • Cleaning 

Please return worn, soiled items in the separate bag provided. If you need to clean any of the items yourself before returning then please let us know first. Use a non-bio detergent and be careful to read the care label.

  • Loss or Damage

Please notify us straight away of any loss or damage. Please do not attempt to repair, we will send a quote for the replacement value and your card will be debited as per the risk value, after notifying you.

Small = 14-15 collar/ 30 waist

Medium = 15/ 15.5 collar/ 32 waist

Large = 16/ 16.5 collar/ 34 waist

Extra Large = 17 collar/ 36 waist
